I've lived a few different lives, in a few different places, and somewhere along the way, writing became the thread connecting them. My work moves between personal experience and cultural curiosity, between the stories we tell ourselves and the world happening around us. I'm interested in the things that shape a life, the things we overlook and everything that makes it worth experiencing.

/ lived experience

A life rarely follows the plot we imagined. Mine has taken me through different countries, careers and versions of myself. Those experiences have become the material for much of my writing, and a reminder that the most interesting stories aren't always the ones we planned.

/ observation

I've always been curious about people, culture and the peculiar ways we live. The small details, social contradictions, unexpected connections and stories behind things are often what interest me most. Writing is how I make sense of them, or occasionally make them more interesting.

/ Presence

For a long time, life was something I was trying to figure out. These days, I'm more interested in experiencing it. In making room for curiosity, pleasure, beauty, people and the occasional unexpected turn. Not everything needs a purpose to be worthwhile.
